Victoria Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations
Sensible Kitchen & Bath is an experienced interior renovator. We proudly deliver efficient, effective, and affordable projects for clients in the Greater Victoria area.

Our Story
Committed to Our Clients
Sensible Kitchen & Bath was created to deliver great projects that don't break the bank. In an era of inflated construction costs and luxury products being pushed relentlessly, we strive to deliver sensible kitchens and baths. Well designed with value in mind are the projects we love to build.
Our Promise

1
Effective
We create effective kitchens and baths starting with the design phase. We work with our clients to identify needs and wants, then create a design that will fit your budget. We prefer practical over showy and will help guide you to make a value informed, yet beautiful kitchen.
2
Efficient
We know that renovations are not easy with disruptions to your regular daily routine. That's why we strive to deliver projects quickly, without compromising quality. We understand you have been planning this project for a long time and we are here to make it a reality for you.
3
Affordable
Value is at the heart of our service and design. We want to make sure that you pay a fair price for a kitchen that suits your needs and style. Sensible designs lead to sensible budgets and very happy customers.
How we will build your kitchen
Step by Step
Initial Inquiry
We start by asking for a few photos of your current kitchen or bathroom. This lets us get an idea of the scope and scale of the project as well as enable us to start coming up with design ideas. If you happen to know the style or features you're looking for at this point, that will help too. Ideally we will have a brief phone call with all the involved stakeholders to begin the conversation.
Ballpark Estimate
Based on the photos and a chat on the phone, we will be able to provide you with a rough estimate and timeline for your project. If the estimate meets your budget and the timeline works for you, then we will move forward with an in-person consultation.
In Person Consultation
The consultation is where we finalize the layout of your kitchen and decide on features and finish levels. Depending on what you are looking for, we can bring samples for you to chose from right at home. If you prefer, we can put together a shopping list and send you to our preferred vendors to make your selections.
Full Service Design (optional)
Some projects lend themselves to a little more planning up front. With the full service design option, we will create a 3D model of your project so you can review all of the details before we get started. We will also accompany you when making product selections to help you make the best decisions for your space.
Final Design and Ordering
We want to make sure your project is delivered as efficiently as possible. To do that we will wait until all the finished materials are ordered and do everything we can to have everything arrive on time. This will ensure a smooth installation without delays.
Project Delivery
Once we have all the pieces ready to go, we will begin the main event. We start with proper dust control, floor protection, and existing kitchen or bathroom removal. Then we put in a brand new one!
Project Completion
After your kitchen or bathroom is installed we know you'll be overjoyed, but we want to make sure. We will do a full walk through with you to answer any questions and address any concerns. Only once you are 100% satisfied will we ask for the final payment.

About Me
My name is Jacob Muir
I have a passion for creating beautiful spaces. I have been renovating since I was 8, when my mother put a paintbrush in my hand to help get our rather old house ready to move into. As I explored other career options throughout high school and university, I always came back to building. The joy and tangibility of crafting spaces that clients will cherish is something I will always delight in and could never give up.

When I'm not working on my client's projects, you will likely find me in the mountains hiking, running, skiing, and kayaking, and occasionally in a sauna to rest and recover.
It will be my pleasure to get to know you and guide you through your renovation, from the initial phone call right through to the final checklist.
